Toyota & Lexus Exhaust Service
Quiet, Safe, and Running Right
A healthy exhaust system does a lot more than keep your car quiet. It safely routes combustion gases away from the cabin, protects surrounding components from heat damage, and plays a direct role in engine performance and fuel economy. When something goes wrong — a cracked manifold, a rusted-out section, a failing muffler — you'll usually know it immediately. The noise alone is hard to ignore.
At Ken's Quality Auto Repair, we diagnose and repair exhaust systems on all Toyota and Lexus models. Whether it's a simple muffler replacement or a full exhaust system inspection, we've been doing this work on these vehicles — and only these vehicles — since 1989.
Please note: Ken's Quality Auto Repair does not perform smog checks or issue smog certificates.
We specialize in exhaust system repair only.

Catalytic Converter Replacement
Catalytic converters on Toyota and Lexus vehicles are durable, but they do fail — and they're also a common theft target, particularly on hybrid models like the Prius. Hybrid catalytic converters contain higher concentrations of precious metals because they operate at lower temperatures, making them a high-value target for thieves.
If your catalytic converter has failed or been stolen, we can replace it. We use quality OEM-equivalent parts, and we'll make sure the replacement is properly fitted and the system is working correctly before you leave.
Warning Signs Your Exhaust System Needs Attention
-
Louder-than-normal exhaust note, rattling, or ticking sounds (especially on cold start)
-
Hissing or popping sounds from under the hood or beneath the vehicle
-
Sulfur or rotten egg smell from the exhaust
-
Check engine light with codes related to catalytic converter efficiency
-
Reduced fuel economy or noticeable drop in performance
-
Visible rust, holes, or damaged sections on exhaust components
-
Exhaust smell inside the cabin — pull over and have it inspected, do not continue driving
Why Bring Your Toyota or Lexus to Ken's for Exhaust Work?
Exhaust systems on Toyota and Lexus vehicles have their own engineering quirks — manifold designs, flex pipe locations, and sensor configurations that vary by model and generation. Getting it right means knowing the platform. We've been working on these vehicles exclusively for over 35 years, and we stock or source the right parts for the job rather than forcing in generic fits.
If your exhaust is making noise, you smell something off, or you just want an honest assessment of the system's condition, we're happy to take a look.
